Award-winning mixed portfolio developer, owner and manager adds Yardi RENTmaximizer to their Yardi Voyager platform to achieve consistent rental income growth

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF., June 25, 2015 — Yardi announced today that Pennsylvania-based Hankin Group has added Yardi RENTmaximizer™ to its web-based Yardi Voyager® property management and accounting platform to optimize revenue management and increase rent growth for its multifamily properties.

Before Yardi RENTmaximizer, Hankin Group was updating rental prices once per year and was not taking advantage of frequent market fluctuations. Site managers had to rely on manual calculation methods for their markets, and struggled to maintain competitive prices.

According to Michael Hankin, chief operating officer for Hankin Group, “Thanks to Yardi RENTmaximizer, which works seamlessly with our Yardi Voyager property management and accounting platform, our site managers no longer have to manually figure out competitive rents in their markets. We’re proud to announce the 2015 Eagleview Town Center Summer Events Calendar. This year, Eagleview will host the 15th annual Summer Concerts on the Square series, along with Movie Nights and the weekly Eagleview Farmers Market at Town Center.

While no admission is charged to attend Town Center events, we hope that you will bring a canned food item to each event to support our fight against hunger. Food donations will benefit the Chester County Food Bank.

West Headquarters Achieves LEED Gold Certification

Hankin Group is proud to announce that the West Pharmaceuticals Services, Inc. global headquarters at 530 Herman O. West Drive in Eagleview is a LEED®-certified project that has achieved Gold level certificationThe U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED green building program is the preeminent program for the design, construction, maintenance and operations of high-performance green buildings.

To achieve LEED certification, a building must be designed and constructed to achieve a certain number of points according to an extensive list of guidelines.

The West building scored high marks due to it’s proximity to Eagleview Town Center and the walking trail that connects the two, a green-friendly site design that focused on protecting habitat, maximizing open space and innovative stormwater design, and an energy efficient building envelope and a cutting edge HVAC design utilizing chilled beam system. The building also scored a maximum amount of points in the Innovation & Design Process and Regional Priority Credits – noting the superior care that was taken in the sustainable design process & assuring that the building fit the environmental needs of the region, according to USGBC standards.

We congratulate Hankin Group’s design, development & construction teams for their expert work on achieving the LEED Gold certification!

Purchase of DASD Land Granted Permission; Hankin Group Called “The Gold Standard” of Developers in the County

A Common Pleas Court judge on Thursday granted permission to the Downingtown Area School District (DASD) to sell a 240-acre tract of land to Hankin Group. A residential development is planned to be built on the land. During a hearing on the details of the sale, district Solicitor Guy A. Donatelli referred to Hankin Group as “the gold standard” of developers in the county.

Hankin Group is proud to announce that the Hilton Garden Inn Exton/West Chester is open for business! The hotel was featured in an article in today’s Daily Local News:

Hilton Garden Inn Exton/West Chester, Hilton Worldwide’s brand of upscale hotels, on Wednesday announced its new hotel in Exton will open Thursday.

The 135-room hotel was developed by The Hankin Group with EXPA Associates LLC., an operating affiliate of GF Management of Philadelphia, as property manager.

“We’ve been prepping for months,” General Manager David Arena wrote in a news release. “The staff and I are excited to finally welcome guests into our beautiful hotel.”

Hilton Garden Inn Exton/West Chester will feature a two-story lobby, indoor pool and spa, a fitness center and the Garden Grille and Bar.
